BASKAMERUN “is a sporting and cultural event in Germany, led by enthusiasts of the orange ball. The word “BASKAMERUN” refers in German to the abbreviation and word game for “Basketball aus Kamerun” , translated as: “Basketball from Cameroon“.

From 1998 to 2010, Baskamerun was with great success the precursor of basketball-Cameroon event in Germany, France and Belgium. It brought together hundreds of amateur and professional players every year, as well as thousands of fans and spectators around the orange ball.

2018

The Trilogy Edition: Baskamerun e.V. expands its portfolio and goes more social

2018… This year Baskamerun brings the germany’s DLA vs YDE event to the next level.

2017

The year of the revelation: Baskamerun becomes official in Germany - Baskamerun e.V

2017 BASKAMERUN adds a branch of social and charitable activities in its portfolio with a focus on solidarity and supports to African childhood through basketball events. To that purposed the non-profit association BASKAMERUN – BOUNCE FOR AFRICA e.V. is created.

2016

After a creative break Baskamerun comes back with a concept

2016 launched BASKAMERUN with great success the 1st edition of a new concept: “Germany’s DOUALA vs YAOUNDE, The Basketball Battle” in Francfort.

1999

Baskamerun's creation as one of the pioneers of cameroons basketball event in europe

From 1999 to 2002 Baskamerun ran yearly its prestigious tournament "B-Ball-Day" in Hannover.
